Candles aren’t
the final touch

Done properly, they make a room feel like something.

We design with light: sand candles down the length of a table, taper candles at eye level, a candlelit entranceway that makes everyone go quiet on the way in.

Every setup is built around what you've already chosen. Your venue, your florals, your colours, the feeling you're chasing. You don't need to know which candles go where or how many a table takes - that's the part we're good at.

Every wedding is priced on what it actually takes - your venue, your floor plan and how many candles the look really needs. These three are how most bookings fall.

One part of your night, beautifully lit

Enough candlelight to change how one part of your night feels. Most couples put it where people sit longest, but it's yours to place. If you want candles to be genuinely noticeable somewhere rather than thinly spread everywhere, start here.

Your whole reception, and a little more

Where most couples land. Enough to carry a full reception and still have something left for a feature moment - the bar, the entrance, the cake table - does the heavy lifting in your photos. This is the level where guests walk in and stop mid-sentence.

For when a few candles on the tables was never the plan. Usually more than two spaces, with our team on site across the day moving pieces as it unfolds, so every room your guests walk into is already glowing before they get there.

Every package includes:

  • Every candle, holder, vessel and/or sleeve needed for your booking

  • Your choice of candle type - sand, tapers, pillars, floating, or a considered mix

  • Feature pieces available at any level - candelabras, glass towers, lamps

  • Pack-down, including midnight bump-outs

Every booking is styled by our team from start to finish, including delivery, set-up and pack-down. It's how we work, not an optional extra.

I used to plan the whole thing

Which means I know exactly what a wedding day looks like at 6am, at 4pm when everything's running late, and at midnight when somebody has to pack it all down. That background is why we work the way we do.

I'm Aimee, the person behind Candlescapes. I started styling candles because they were always the thing that changed a room most for the least fuss — and somewhere along the way "a few candles" turned into several hundred of them at some of Perth's best venues.

What I love is taking everything you've already chosen - the venue, the florals, the colours, the feeling you're chasing - and working out the candle part.

You don't need to arrive knowing what you need. That's my job.

  • This is the most common thing we hear. You don't need to know how many candles a table takes or which types work together. Send through your venue, your guest numbers and whatever you've planned so far, and we'll work out what creates the look you're after.

  • Not at all. We have flameless options available too, so we can work around your venue's requirements while still creating a candle-filled setup that feels beautiful. Let me know about any restrictions when you enquire and we'll plan around them from the start.

  • Six to twelve months out is ideal. It gives us time to work through your venue, your floor plan and the details properly, and it means you're not making candle decisions in the same week as your seating chart. That said, we take last-minute bookings and we're good at them - so if your date is close, ask anyway. Dates are confirmed with a non-refundable booking fee.

  • Yes, we prefer to. Candles sit with everything else on the table, so the setup is always better when we know the other styling plans and we’ve talked to the other vendors. Put us in touch with them and we’ll sort the details between us.

  • Yes. White is our most-booked look, but colour is available across all candle style ranges, including our sand candles. There may be a small additional cost for coloured sand wax, which we will show you in your quote.

  • We do, for a travel fee. Plenty of our favourite weddings have been outside the metro area. Tell us your venue when you enquire and we’ll include travel in your quote so there are no surprises.

  • We’re not a dry hire company - everything we do is fully styled by our team. Full delivery, placement, styling and pack down just for you - a few hundred candles is a much bigger job than it looks! That’s what you hire us for - to lighten your load.

Let's talk candles

Send through your date, your venue and whatever you've got so far - a Pinterest board, your florist's plans or a rough idea involving an unreasonable number of candles. We'll take it from there.

Note: We aim to respond within 1–2 business days. If your enquiry lands over the weekend, when we’re often out on site, it may take us an extra day to get back to you. We’re excited to hear more about your plans and will be in touch as soon as we can.
